This role will lead key commercial initiatives here in WA and nationally to manage and grow an established business and team across a range of industries.

You will work with key finance and operational leaders bringing positive change to the group as they continue to expand. Driving financial performance and useful insights will be a large part of the role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights, challenge and recommendations.
• Key financial modelling, cost management, performance and contract management, P&L oversight.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and develop strategies to mitigate risk and improve performance.
• Partner with operational and leadership teams to provide high-quality commercial advice and financial analysis.
• Deliver financial analysis, forecasting and performance reporting.
• Support the development and execution of commercial and financial strategies aligned to the business.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, controls and efficiencies.
• Ability to travel interstate as required. (Not FIFO)

Experience:

• Degree qualified with a CA / CPA qualification.
• Experience in team management and commercial analysis / management.
• 10+ years across accounting / finance and key commercial analyst roles.
• Exposure to mining, resources and key services are an advantage.
