Mars Recruitment is partnering with a global financial services institution to recruit a Senior Analyst to join their Securities Operations function. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team responsible for delivering corporate action services across the Australia and New Zealand markets, including complex fixed income and equity events.

The successful individual will play a key role in researching, processing, and overseeing corporate action events, working closely with onshore client teams and offshore processing partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Researching corporate action events and issuing accurate, timely notifications to local and global custody clients across ANZ
• Processing corporate action events, including reconciliations and review of work completed by other team members
• Applying and signing off on controls within risk management platforms
• Allocating workloads across the local team and extended offshore processing teams
• Managing complex client and internal queries, providing clear, client-centric solutions
• Identifying opportunities for process and control improvements and working with IT on implementation
• Applying a risk-based approach to new or complex scenarios
• Supporting staff training and managing complex corporate action events
• Completing monthly control self-assessments within the risk and control framework
• Liaising with internal and external auditors as required

About You

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in financial services, or investment operations
• Hands-on experience and strong technical knowledge of corporate actions across the Australian and New Zealand markets
• Proven ability to manage deadlines, prioritise workloads, and operate with high attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative working style
• Degree qualification in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
