The Role
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will play a key part in providing operational support for the settlement of FX and Money Market transactions for corporate clients. This role offers exposure to Treasury markets, cash management, and end-to-end settlement processes, making it an excellent opportunity to deepen your technical expertise in a fast-paced financial environment.

To be successful in this role, you must possess working knowledge of SWIFT & EXIGO, a high level of accuracy and demonstrate experience in a similar role or a back-office administrative role within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Treasury products transactions, including confirmation, positioning, and settlement.
• Input/check transactions accurately and error-free within prescribed cut-off times.
• RBA RITS and Nostro Reconciliation.
• Review, investigate, and report discrepancies, ensuring tracers are sent to counterparties.
• Provide backup and operational support to other departments, particularly Money Market Operations, and participate in cross-training and refresher training initiatives.

About You

• 1-2 years' experience in financial services, ideally within banking and treasury operations.
• Exposure to Global Markets, Financial Markets, or Back Office Operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial market products.
• Proficient with SWIFT processing/payments, system knowledge.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
