Operations Coordinator

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this newly created role will provide vital support across both HR operations and day-to-day business administration. It's a hands-on, varied position ideal for someone who enjoys being at the heart of the business - ensuring our people, offices and processes run smoothly.

This role will suit a confident all-rounder who thrives in a growing, fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources & People Operations

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.

  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and compliance documentation.

  • Support line managers with HR processes including probation, performance reviews and policy adherence.

  • Liaise with external partners such as Employment Hero, Seek, and IT providers.

Office & Business Operations

  • Oversee smooth operation of head office and interstate offices.

  • Liaise with building management and manage company assets, vehicle fleet and supplier relationships.

  • Maintain key business systems and assist with WHS compliance and documentation.

About You

You'll bring a proactive, organised and people-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities. You enjoy variety and have a genuine interest in both HR and operational support.

We're looking for:

  • 3+ years' experience in HR coordination, office management or operations roles.

  • Strong understanding of HR administration, onboarding, and compliance.

  • Excellent attention to detail, communication and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.

  • Experience in property, construction or professional services (advantageous).

  • Proficiency in HRIS or business systems (e.g. Employment Hero, Xero, MS Office).
