About the role We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the Finance Manager and CFO with day-to-day accounting functions across both Australian and international operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong bookkeeping or accounts background who is looking to broaden their skills in a dynamic and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Accounts Payable including supplier invoice processing, reconciliation, and international payments.
Handle Accounts Receivable, focusing on end-of-month reconciliations and claim resolution.
Process payroll, including superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax.
Prepare and maintain financial reports such as profit & loss, balance sheets, variance, BAS, and performance reports.
Assist with data entry, reconciliations, banking, and statutory compliance.
About You
2-3 years' experience in bookkeeping, accounts, or assistant accounting roles.
Practical experience with MYOB (Advanced ERP preferred).
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills with a professional and team-oriented approach.
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping, Accounting qualification, or equivalent experience is highly regarded.
