• Credit Controller

• Location: Sydney CBD
• Full-time permanent role
• Up to $110k package (base + super combined)

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to review WIP, disbursements, and outstanding debts.
• Ensure billing is accurate, timely, and compliant with client agreements.
• Proactively follow up outstanding invoices and resolve credit queries or disputes.
• Monitor fee earner compliance with timesheet submissions and billing targets.
• Escalate material and aging WIP, disbursement, or debt issues in line with firm guidelines.
• Review write-offs, investigate significant movements, and assist with cash allocation.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and provide support across the finance team as needed.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a credit control or billing role within a professional services environment (must have)
• Strong knowledge of billing processes and debt management
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience with practice management systems such as Elite 3E, SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics 365
