MARS Recruitment has partnered with a mid-tier gold producer to recruit a Contract Administrator to join their Commercial & Procurement team. This role supports contract management activities and is ideal for someone with 1-3 years' experience in procurement, contracts, or commercial support roles in utilities, construction, or infrastructure.

Mining experience is not essential - just bring your attention to detail, strong admin skills, and willingness to learn.

The Role

• Assisting with the drafting and administration of contracts, including managing general terms and conditions
• Preparing and managing RFQs, tender packages, and bid evaluations
• Supporting the review and assessment of contract performance, KPIs, and commercial risk
• Drafting correspondence including notices and letters
• Liaising with Legal, Procurement, and Project teams, as well as external contractors and advisors
• Analysing commercial data to support reporting and decision-making

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

• A degree or diploma in Procurement, Business, Construction Management, Law, or a related discipline
• 1-3 years' experience in contracts or procurement roles - ideally within construction, utilities, or infrastructure
• Strong administrative and systems skills, with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ERP knowledge
• A team-focused mindset with a willingness to learn and grow within the mining sector
