Group Treasury Analyst

Opportunity for an Analyst to join and gain exposure to a broad and strategic Group Treasury function within a reputable financial organisation

Mars Recruitment is partnering with a premier non-bank lender, who is looking for an Analyst to join the Group Treasury team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of treasury functions, working closely with the Group Treasurer, part of a dynamic and high-performing team.

The role offers broad exposure across Group Treasury, with responsibilities including capital markets and funding support, helping with transactions, managing liquidity and hedging, handling reports for regulators and investors, and providing analytical support for key treasury projects.

Role and Responsibilites

  • Provide analytical support for capital markets, funding, and treasury initiatives

  • Assist with transaction execution, including documentation and financial close

  • Coordinate rating agency and investor reporting requirements

  • Contribute to liquidity and hedging management

  • Prepare pitchbooks, board reports, and competitor market updates

  • Support M&A activity, onboarding processes, and strategic projects

  • Engage with external stakeholders such as banks, rating agencies, and legal counsel

About You:

  • Ideally 2-3 years' experience in treasury, banking, financial services, or a related role
  • Understanding of financial markets and macroeconomic principles

  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, including Excel

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Law, or similar

  • AFMA accreditation (highly regarded)
