After a successful international career in accounting, Lorna had a desire to combine her commercial acumen and people skills and embarked on a career in recruitment with a leading global firm. Making a big impact in that business, not to mention her candidates and clients, she saw an opportunity to expand her success more broadly, and in 2008, founded MARS Recruitment.

Marcus is an owner and Director of MARS with over 18 years’ recruitment experience spanning the UK and Australia. Graduating with a Bachelor of Law from Aberdeen University in Scotland, Marcus commenced his recruitment career in London prior to emigrating to Australia and has been active in the Sydney market for the past 15 years.
From the outset, Marcus has displayed a passion for sales and relationship building and notably was the highest Australia-wide biller for a global recruitment company in Sydney for 3 consecutive years before leading one of the most profitable desks in the Sydney banking sector. Rohan has more than 10 years’ recruitment experience in Finance within the Melbourne market. After graduating from Monash University with a double degree, he travelled extensively before starting his career in recruitment.
Over this period, Rohan also spent a couple of years away from the industry running a small business and working in digital marketing, which provides him with an enhanced perspective when working with clients and understanding their needs. While building and managing the Melbourne office, Rohan is still active in recruiting for our key clients.
Dean is a proud Melbournian, loyal Carlton supporter and co-founder of our Melbourne business. Graduating from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Social Science, Dean has recruited accounting, finance and executive level roles in the Melbourne market for more than 12 years.

Iris has been with MARS since 2011 and is one of the founding members of the Sydney office. She has grown the traditional accounting and finance practice to expand from her grass roots banking and financial services specialisation to service the commerce and industry sector as well as leading teams across project services, banking operations, risk and compliance as well as wealth/advice.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Social Science) from the University of Sydney and has recruited in the Sydney market since 2005.
