An exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Analyst has risen with a major Fintech to join their growing Credit team.

As the Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for the assessment and final decisions for Retail & Business banking clients lending needs. Working closely with the broker network you will be responsible for making the customers experience seem-less.

The objective of this role is to ensure accurate and effective credit decisions are made in a consistent, efficient and timely manner to deliver excellent customer service.

The role will work closely with internal and external business partners, and as such there is a strong need for collaboration and team work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure you understand the contributions to the business and profit, ensuring quality and responsible credit risk decisions are made in a consistent manner in line with the strategic direction of the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance within delegated authorities and internal and external compliance / audit requirements which may include adherence to government/governing body legislative policies.
  • Adherence to the guidelines established within your personal DLA.
  • Act within the banks required Risk Framework.
  • Ensure policy, systems, tools and procedures are in line with the banks Risk Management expectations, thereby ensuring optimal execution of credit risk management strategies and adherence to credit competency guidelines

Required Experience:

  • Experience working in a retail & Business Banking credit environment, particularly with prior delegations held across both Commercial & Retail lending
  • Great stakeholder management skills, results orientation and commitment to excellence
  • Professional operators, with spectacular communication and time management skills
  • 5+ years experience across retail & Commercial lending
  • Proven ability to work with Relationship Managers to get deals over the line
