ROLE OVERVIEW 

As Recruitment Consultant in the Technology space, your primary responsibility is to achieve sales and revenue targets through the successful placement of candidates within your specialist area.

 

You will work as part of the broader Recruitment team, servicing a variety of organisations across a defined grouping of roles, becoming a subject matter expert that can service requirements though your network of passive and active candidates.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

 

Understanding your clients needs 

  • With the support of your manager, develop a consultative approach to business development and relationship management whilst increasing your specialist knowledge/position in the market
  • Successfully manage, nurture and build relationships with existing clients

 

Understanding your candidates needs

  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience and consultative service to job seekers
  • Ensure the candidate database is always up-to-date, including information gathered from candidate calls and meetings
  • Consistently engage with active and passive candidates in your respective area

 

Systems and Processes

  • Mandatory adherence to system usage and compliance set by the National Administration Manager
  • Understanding and taking responsibility for client recruitment processes, ensuring delivery standards throughout the recruitment process.

 

Personal Development

  • Develop deep industry/sector/subject matter expertise to positively impact your revenue and MARS’s revenue targets through professional development activities including reading publications, attending industry events, networking with thought leaders and figureheads where appropriate

 

Culture and Values

  • Act as a brand ambassador and instill the MARS values in the team
  • Actively promote the MARS brand externally to candidates, clients and industry peers
  • Positively contribute to the team and overall organisational dynamics and culture of MARS
