Our client in the banking industry is looking for a Finance Operations Associate to join their Finance Operations team on permanent full-time basis. They are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Key responsibilities:

• Working as part of the Finance Operations team, resolving escalations and remediations with the greater Operations and Finance teams
• Managing daily and monthly reconciliations of their core platforms including exception detection and resolution
• Working with teams across the bank with regards to process and product developments and enhancements
• Actioning key daily tasks around settlements, payouts, refinances and account remediations
• Providing escalation support within the team and training to new starters

Requirements for the role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 5+ years experience in an operations/finance related role
• Knowledge and understanding of enterprise level data and technology systems an advantage
• Intermediate to Advanced excel an advantage
• Demonstrated experience managing priorities in a high-pressure environment
• Experience with complex reconciliations an advantage
• Experience working within a legislated environment (ideally business banking or similar) an advantage
