The role:

My client’s marketing team has two objectives: build brand awareness and brand equity; and identify, nurture and deliver Marketing Qualified Leads to the sales team.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for setting and executing the digital brand and lead-generation strategy. The Group is an international business. This role has the opportunity to influence the group’s digital marketing on a global scale. You’ll work with and guide colleagues around the world on innovative digital marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The role is responsible for building and maintaining the end-to-end digital marketing funnel. This includes:
  • Working with sales and marketing to set measureable, 12-month digital marketing objectives to achieve brand and sales goals.
  • Create and implement a digital marketing strategy to achieve these objectives, working with marketing and sales team members
  • Working with marketing colleagues to produce high-performing digital campaigns including EDMs, websites and landing pages, advertising and other digital activities and collateral. This is a hands-on role that takes ultimate responsibility for digital marketing activities and collateral.
  • Ability to build a basic digital marketing ROI system tracking MQLs through to revenue.
  • Experience with digital marketing concepts such as Marketing Qualified Leads, lead scoring and attribution models.
  • Manage relationships with digital marketing agencies including web developer, MarTech, digital media buying, video production
  • Work closely with sales teams to evangelise adoption of lead-generation technology, especially by developing and presenting easy-to-understand reporting.

Key skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications with a marketing discipline preferred
  • Experience working in a similar digital marketing role for 5 years’
  • Experience and understanding of lead-generation best practice
  • Finance industry experience preferred, but not required. Understanding of funds management a plus.
  • Experience building and managing solutions to deliver quality MQLs
  • B2B experience an advantage, but candidates bringing skills and experience from a B2C background welcomed
  • Experience building and managing digital marketing infrastructure, especially focused on lead generation:
  • A strong understanding of Marketo
  • A basic knowledge of Salesforce
  • CMS, WordPress preferred
  • Experience with webinar systems, such as ON24
  • Experience with measurement programs such as Google Analytics
  • Experience with digital advertising platforms a plus
  • Confident working with and influencing senior executives
  • Strong project management and organisations skills; comfortable juggling multiple tasks and keeping others to deadline
