Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, the BDR will be focused on business development and sales in their assigned region.
Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, the BDR will be focused on business development and sales in their assigned region. The role will require hunting for new business and generating leads for the Sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the sales team to uncover new opportunities and revenue streams
- Proactively keep on-top of relevant industry trends and the technology landscape
- Ability to account plan, identify target personas leveraging LinkedIn to prospect
- Ability to have conversations at the C-suite
- Mastering the ability to evangelise our clients’ story
- Utilize cold calling, social selling, and email to generate new sales opportunities
- Identify prospect’s needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
- Report to manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
Experience:
- Experience selling SaaS / consulting business advantageous
- 3+ years sales experience in a new business / lead generation role
- Proven track record in achieving sales results and meeting KPIs
