Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy assessment, intervention, and evaluation for NDIS participants.
• Deliver speech and language therapy clinical practice through direct care, applying evidence-based practice and policy.
• Educate, support, and collaborate with participants, carers, colleagues, medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, multidisciplinary care.
• Work within the community visiting schools and homes, servicing NDIS participants across the lifespan
• Provide a positive image for the organisation and work in line with their core values

Qualifications and Experience:

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Therapy and current SPA registration
• Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
• Current Police Clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening.
• Proven experience in working with individuals with disabilities, psychosocial disabilities, families, and carers.
• Strong commitment to dignity, respect, inclusion, and empowerment of participants.
• Skilled in evaluating functional needs and providing advanced clinical advice to peers.
• Experience in supervising assistants/support staff and contributing to quality improvement and research activities is desired
