My client is one of Australia’s largest health insurers and they’re embarking on a digital transoformation project to further help put their members first and their offering the best in market.

Reporting to the Digital Product Lead, the Senior Digital Product Manager will play a key role within their assigned domain (digital tribe) to drive the broader digital strategy roll out. In collaboration with business and technology stakeholders, the Senior Digital Product Manager will own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for their workstream (squad) and will lead the team to drive member and business value, at pace with a first-class experience.

Role responsbilities:

  • End to end accountability for workstream strategy, execution and outcomes.
  • Work and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and own roadmap and experience for assigned workstream to ensure business and member outcomes, and alignment to broader strategic objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional agile team to continuously design and develop market leading product vision and experience for assigned workstream
  • Manage product development lifecycle from discovery, ideation and concepts to launch, managing continuous improvement and growth in-line with strategic objectives and priorities.
  • Define and proactively monitor key performance metrics and use analytics, market and user research, usability studies, competitor and comparator analysis to drive effective decision making.
  • Remove impediments for workstreams and squads to ensure continuous value delivery.
  • Develop deep customer and member insight to develop meaningful and market leading digital workstream
  • Liaise daily and attend agile ceremonies with the cross-functional team members to create digital products and experiences customers and members find joyful and delightful
  • Cultivate strong partnerships across Digital Strategy roll out to ensure we are building products and experiences that scale, and providing transparency and alignment around key priorities.

To be successful:

  • 5+ years digital product ownership experience in a regulated industry or product-led scaling up or transforming its business model at pace with a focus on B2C marketplaces built upon web, mobile and AI driven AI driven applications, and continuous value delivery and innovation.
  • Demonstratable customer commitment with ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams to build meaningful products and continuously improve experiences for our members
  • Experience working with 3rd party partners across product lifecycle
  • Experience partnering with brand and marketing teams to deliver products and that are aligned with messaging, go-to-market, and create thought leadership
  • Leadership skills with an exceptional ability to make things happen using impact and influence
  • Communicating product vision and goals to teams, senior leaders and executives
  • Product management lifecycle
  • Product analytics skills and cohort analysis
  • Prioritisation of tasks and requirements
  • Run product discovery and facilitate workshops
  • Create user journeys
  • Design & Lean Thinking, and doing, with a focus on doing the right thing and doing it right.
