As a Senior Payroll Manager, you will love project and remediation work, but is also passionate about payroll and leading the function.

The Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to HR, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Lead all payroll related remediation projects
  • Process improvement and system transformations
  • Coordinate, direct and control payroll preparation, processing and distribution
  • Payroll and HR weekly, monthly and annual reporting
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to the payroll team
  • Uphold high customer service standards and protocols across the business
  • Develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively and as a team across departments
  • Use your system experience to ensure staff are well trained and payroll systems are running at their best
  • Identify process improvements and implement these changes using your strong system knowledge

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years experience leading the payroll function
  • Strong experience and working knowledge of HRIS and Payroll systems and software – SAP Essential
  • Experience within a large company
  • Project Remediation work
  • Experience in award interpretation
  • A hands on and proactive attitude to support the payroll function
  • Ongoing project work – system improvements
