MARS Recruitment is partnering with an esteemed Financial Services business who are looking to hire a Senior FP&A Analyst to join them on a permanent basis.
This is a commercially focused FP&A role supporting senior leaders across the business, with responsibility for delivering high-quality management reporting, forecasting and financial modelling. The position will partner closely with key stakeholders to provide insights into financial performance, support strategic initiatives and drive data-led decision making.
The Responsibilities:
Produce insightful management reporting including variance analysis, commentary on financial performance and identification of key drivers impacting results.
Build and maintain robust financial models to support forecasting, budgeting cycles and longer-term strategic planning.
Track and enhance key financial and operational metrics, ensuring performance insights support strategic decision-making.
Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic reforecasts, working closely with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with operational plans.
Maintain rolling forecasts and provide visibility on financial performance against plan.
Conduct profitability and performance analysis across products, customer segments and distribution channels, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Support strategic initiatives and investment decisions through financial modelling, scenario analysis and commercial insight.
Utilise advanced analytics and AI-driven tools to extract insights from portfolio performance and new originations, enabling data-driven decision making for senior stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation of reporting materials and analysis for executive leadership and board discussions.
Collaborate with the Financial Control team to improve the integration of FP&A processes with core finance activities such as month-end close and management reporting.
Partner with the Data & Analytics team to improve data integrity, automation and the use of advanced analytics in financial reporting.
Contribute to enterprise-wide projects by delivering timely financial analysis and recommendations to support decision making.
The Requirements:
CA/CPA/ACCA qualified.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar finance role encompassing management accounting, financial reporting and analytical responsibilities.
Prior exposure to the financial services sector is highly regarded.
Commercially minded with a proactive approach to identifying trends, risks and opportunities within the business.
