MARS Recruitment is partnering with a globally renowned and iconic retailer who is looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to join their team based in Melbourne!

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing, executing, and optimizing all online traffic sources, including performance marketing, social media, SEO, partnerships, and affiliates. They will be tasked with delivering growth to the eCommerce business globally by increasing the number of visitors while maintaining high-quality traffic and expanding the customer base.


The Senior Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing all digital channels, including but not limited to paid search, organic/SEO, social, display & retargeting, partnerships & affiliates, with the goal to:

  • Manage and optimize all media performance, working closely with media agency partners to continuously improve key metrics.
  • Develop marketing-specific acquisition strategies and plan media mix to drive sales.
  • Build and socialize media performance reports for key stakeholders, surfacing results, insights, and trends derived from triangulating data and performance.
  • Make recommendations and inform future acquisition budgets and maximization.
  • Assist in the analysis and constant improvement of pricing and promo strategy.
  • Lead and be part of the wider eCommerce business development and growth projects.
  • Understand and optimize the customer path to purchase end-to-end.
  • Lead and establish growth performance targets to increase site traffic and support site conversion.
  • Improve and optimize omni-channel marketing ROI and paid channel investment through established robust marketing attribution models.
  • Represent the digital team on cross-functional working groups, influencing project prioritization and driving outcomes.
  • Develop data-driven digital and media strategies and tactics that drive positive ROI both on a direct basis, as well as meeting long-term brand and customer retention tactics.
  • Establish effective testing programs across all digital channels to support online trade and customer growth and deliver incremental business growth.


  • 6 to 10 years of experience in Digital Marketing (with at least 3 years leading a team).
  • Experience in Apparel eCommerce and digital marketing is highly desirable.
  • Technical understanding of Google advertising products and Ad Manager, Facebook Business Manager, and broadcast media measures, planning, and buying.
  • Working knowledge of business intelligence tools (such as PowerBI, MS Dynamics, etc.).
