Mars Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a global Logistics and Supply Chain organisation based in Melbourne CBD, they are seeking an experienced Corporate Legal Counsel to join their highly experienced and close knit Legal team on a 12-month fixed term contract

Key responsibilities:

Provide accurate, practical, customer-focused expert and legal advice to senior and middle managers and other managers in a timely fashion in the below areas:

• Contracts and tenders
• Disputes and litigation
• Consumer and competition law (including Part X filings as directed)
• LOIs and bank guarantees
• Idling cargoes
• Intellectual property
• Corporations Law
• Complex Insurance claims generally
• Privacy
• Risks and compliance

What we are looking for:

• 3 + years of experience in a legal / corporate legal counsel position
• Australian Practicing Certificate - Essential
• Tertiary qualification in Law
• Someone who is looking to make their first from practice to industry
• Ability to prioritise and manage competing priorities effectively
• Can do attitude and exceptional communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
