About the role

As a Senior Bridge and Structural Engineer, you will provide specialist engineering services to deliver innovative bridge and structural project solutions, focused on improving and extending the life of client’s assets within an extremely supportive environment that fosters growth and critical thinking.

Responsibilities and requirements include:

  • Deliver fit for purpose solutions with your technical knowledge of bridge/structural engineering and asset management
  • Combine engineering and project management capabilities
  • Manage complete scope of projects; from stakeholders, bids and proposals, delivery and handover
  • Conduct structural inspections to develop maintenance and renewal programs
  • Collate condition assessment data to form long and short term asset management plans
  • Bridges Level 1 & 2 condition rating inspections

Skills and experience

To be successful for the role, you will ideally possess:

  • Strong business acumen supported by a strong level of written and verbal communication skills
  • CPEng, MIEAust or RPEQ
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of project and asset management principles
  • Ability to negotiate and liaise effectively with stakeholders
  • Civil/Structural Engineering degree with 5 years+ of industry experience
  • Previous experience within Local, State or Federal Government will be highly regarded
  • Strong, genuine interest in bridges and structural engineering
