MARS Recruitment are partnering with a national non-for-profit organisation seeking a Registered Psychologist for a key role at a secondary school in Cranbourne. In this part-time position, you'll collaborate to support the mental health of young people, offering hybrid working conditions and the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives.

Type: Part-time (0.4 FTE) ongoing position, with flexible hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mental state, risk, and discipline-specific assessments.
  • Provide individual counselling and ongoing therapeutic services.
  • Develop care plans and support students referred by the school's well-being team.
  • Encourage early help-seeking behaviour and offer psycho-education on mental health and substance use.
  • Deliver evidence-based group programs and collaborate with school staff, families, and external agencies.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology and full registration with APHRA.
  • Demonstrated experience working with young people and families, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong clinical skills in early intervention and evidence-based treatment.
  • Experience with educational services and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
