Registered Psychologist – Narellan

Join a well-established MDT clinic in Narellan as a Registered Psychologist!

MARS Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Psychologist to join a prominent organisation that delivers services to a diverse clientele, including NDIS, Private Clients, and Workers Compensation Clients.

The Position:

As a psychologist you will thrive in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment, demonstrating passion and dedication to psychology. This is a full-time permanent role, with potential consideration for a part-time arrangement. You will work collaborativley with six other mental health professionals.


Responsibilities include:

Managing your own caseload:

  • Strategically managing a caseload of clients with diverse needs and concerns.
  • Developing individualised treatment plans based on thorough assessments.

Engaging with Stakeholders:

  • Collaborating with various stakeholders, including medical professionals, family members, and support networks.
  • Participating in interdisciplinary meetings to ensure comprehensive and holistic care.

Cultivating Client Relationships:

  • Establishing and maintaining strong therapeutic alliances with clients through empathetic communication and active listening.
  • Adapting therapeutic approaches to suit the unique needs and preferences of each client.

Writing Reports:

  • Generating comprehensive and accurate psychological assessments and progress reports.
  • Communicating findings and recommendations in a clear and accessible manner.

Taking Clinical Notes:

  • Maintaining detailed and confidential clinical records, documenting client interactions, assessments, and interventions.
  • Ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards for record-keeping.

Providing Evidence-Based Practice and Therapy Services:

  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needs.
  • Staying abreast of the latest research and therapeutic modalities to enhance the quality of care.

Developing Case Management Plans:

  • Collaborating with clients to create comprehensive case management plans that address their short-term and long-term goals.
  • Coordinating with other professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care.

Targeting Approximately 25 Hours Per Week:

  • Managing a flexible schedule to accommodate client needs and engagement in therapy sessions.
  • Ensuring effective time management for administrative tasks, ongoing education, and professional development.

Your Profile:

  • As an experienced Registered Psychologist, you should ideally have your Medicare provider number (although not mandatory) and possess the following qualifications:
  • AHPRA registration required - open to Clinical and Registered Psychologists.
  • Experience across diverse demographics
  • Current working with children checks.
  • Valid police clearance.
