MARS Recruitment are seeking an experienced registered nurse in surgical, for a contract in regional NSW, located 12-hours west of Sydney.

Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse specialising in Surgical Ward care, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic and challenging environment. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Preparing patients for surgery and assisting medical staff during surgical procedures.
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and post-operative recovery.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to create individualised care plans for patients.
• Ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of all patients under your care.

Requirements:

• Must have minimum 2 years's post graduate experience as an RN, with surgical, medical and/or acute care background
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• National Police Check (within the last 6 months)
• Full Immunisation History
• NSW WWCC (or willing to obtain)
