Payroll & AP Administrator

Support the wider finance team and outsourced payroll in a part-time Accounts Administrator role | Immediate start available | Flexible working

The Role:

  • Payroll and accounts administration responsibilities
  • Initial 6-month contract
  • Part-time 0.5 FTE (2.5 days / week)
  • Immediate start available
  • Team of 9 in finance
  • $38-40/hour + super

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support processing of payroll ensuring accuracy, both monthly and weekly
  • Month-end and year-end processing including payroll tax, superannuation, and other deduction remittances
  • Calculating and coordination of payroll tax and Workcover
  • Coordinating other payroll allowances
  • Managing deductions, such as taxes, insurance, and retirement contributions
  • Preparation of Month end payroll reconciliations
  • Maintenance of personnel files
  • Set up of new employees
  • Supporting the termination payment process
  • Month-end, quarterly and year-end internal reporting
  • Year-end payroll reconciliation
  • Accounts Payable support

Key Requirements:

  • Previous payroll experience
  • Understanding of payroll and accounts payable processes
  • Intermediate Excel skills
