An exciting opportunity has come up within a small Private company that is very well known and respected for the services that they provide to the communities within Darwin and across the Northern Territory. They are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their fun, close knit, inclusive team. The team is predominantly made of people that have taken a bit of a change and relocated from across Australia to enjoy all that Darwin has to offer.

About The Role:

  • Work with clients from the age of 12+ mainly within the NDIS with some private and insurance work also. The company work with clients with all disabilities however, Neuro is a speciality area of the company
  • Work with communities local to Darwin but also have the opportunity to work with remote communities across the Northern Territory. This is anywhere from up to a week away in the communities, or even just a day trip out on a chartered plane
  • Minor and major home modifications – training available in this area’
  • Equipment prescription
  • Assessment and treatment programs for clients with a broad range of diagnosis including
  • Neurological
  • Spinal
  • Multi- Trauma
  • Progressive Degenerative
  • Amputee


  • Fantastic pay rates up to 110K + super
  • 6 weeks of annual leave
  • 3 weeks of personal leave
  • 10 days paid professional development leave
  • Pool cars to see clients that are within the community
  • Opportunity to work across the Northern Territory with rural and remote communities
  • Flexible hours if you want to work a 9-day fortnight or take an early day
  • Support and training for New Graduates
  • Laptop and phone provided that can be used for personal use
  • Work within a MDT enabling you to work alongside other disciplines with clients

About You:

  • Territory qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • NDIS clearance check – or willingness to obtain
  • Police clearance
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build connections and relationships
