The Opportunity:
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team in Belmont on a permanent full-time basis. This is a newly created position within the Home, offering a unique opportunity for a passionate OT to lead with high care and pride, and to truly embody the company's values.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Complete assessments, interventions, and respond to clinical referrals.
  • Collaborate with residents to set goals and promote meaningful activities.
  • Provide clinical resources and advice to OTs at other locations.
  • Lead care staff in delivering activity and therapy programs.
  • Communicate effectively with the care team to enhance resident wellbeing.
  • Contribute to quality improvements and compliance activities.
  • Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating therapeutic programs.
  • Understanding of Aged Care Standards.
  • Strong organisational and workload management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team setting.
  • Proficiency with clinical information systems.
  • General AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist with aged care experience OR a Certificate 4 in Leisure and Lifestyle with assessment experience.
  • A strong commitment to person-centered care.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • A genuine desire to make a positive difference in residents' lives.
  • Compliance with NDIS check, Flu, and COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Full Australian working rights
