Mars Recruitment is partnering with a highly respected not-for-profit health and community services organisation to recruit an experienced Mental Health Clinician to join their expanding regional team in Geraldton, WA.
This is a genuinely rewarding opportunity for a clinician passionate about trauma-informed care, women's mental health, and family & domestic violence (FDV) to deliver meaningful, client-centred support within a multidisciplinary environment - with extensive training, supervision, and professional development in Trauma-Informed Care and FDSV.
You'll work closely with individuals and families experiencing complex psychosocial challenges, providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that promote safety, recovery, resilience, and long-term wellbeing.
In this role, you will provide specialist, trauma-informed mental health treatment to clients across the lifespan, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, client-led outcomes.
Your role will include:
Delivering evidence-based psychological therapies tailored to client needs
Conducting staged, trauma-informed mental health assessments
Developing, implementing and reviewing client-led care plans
Ongoing risk assessment and safety planning in collaboration with local care teams
Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation
Participating in clinical supervision, reflective practice and professional development
Accessing extensive training in Trauma-Informed Care and Family & Domestic Sexual Violence (FDSV)
Engaging with community stakeholders and referral partners

You will bring:
Full registration as a Psychologist, Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, or Mental Health Occupational Therapist (AHPRA or AASW)
Strong experience delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based therapies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High-level clinical documentation and reporting skills
Strong understanding of confidentiality, risk management and clinical governance
A collaborative and client-centred approach
Highly regarded:
Experience working in trauma, women's mental health or family & domestic violence
Experience working with culturally diverse populations
Community or outreach-based clinical experience
