I am teaming up company in the property sector, searching for a Manager, Finance Business Partner to join their team. Leading a small team of financial professionals, you will be responsible for building strategic business partnerships, conducting financial planning and analysis, overseeing performance metrics and reporting, and managing project outcomes. Your responsibilities will include budgeting, forecasting, analysing business plans, and supporting acquisition and development projects. Additionally, you will prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

This pivotal managerial role calls for an individual with an in-depth understanding of property and funds accounting. Strong managerial skills are crucial for efficiently guiding and developing the team. Prospective candidates should demonstrate a commitment to driving improvements and possess robust communication abilities.


  • Collaborate closely with finance teams to ensure the budget align with overall business objectives.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with external business partnerships, implementing measures to mitigate them.
  • Facilitate effective communication between business units, ensuring a cohesive approach to achieving organisational goals.
  • Negotiate and conclude business agreements that align with the company's objectives.
  • Conduct financial analyses to bolster business decisions and pinpoint growth opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in executing strategic initiatives and business projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet predefined objectives.
  • Lead and develop the team, offering technical support and guidance.
  • Implement best-practice financial frameworks and internal controls.


  • 7+ years' post qualification experience
  • CA/CPA qualified (or international equivalent)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
  • Experience in the property or funds sector required
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyse complex data sets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on delivering tangible business outcomes
  • Possesses exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrates outstanding abilities in team management and development
