Excellent opportunity for a highly experienced treasury professional to join a leading international bank with a strong presence in Sydney

Crucial position within a leading international Bank I am looking to speak with candidates ideally from a banking background with strong knowledge around funding, liquidity and risk management.

The role will involve, but will not be limited to:

  • Compilation of liquidity reporting including some daily and monthly reporting requirements
  • Monitor the daily liquidity position of the business
  • Project work and testing
  • Preparation of the ALCO board pack
  • Analysis and compilation of financial and strategic information for management information purpose
  • Liaison with Balance Sheet Management to ensure funding actions are taken as and when required
  • Using Excel and Access skills to interrogate and improve the reporting and analysis framework

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience within financial services is required
  • CA/CFA qualifications are highly regarded but not essential
  • Experience in the areas of liquidity, reporting, product control, treasury or regulatory reporting are highly regarded
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong Excel and Access skills are essential and SQL is highly advantageous
  • Ability to deal with a variety of different stakeholders at all levels
  • Previous experience working on projects around reporting and process improvements
  • Systems enhancement experience will also be highly regarded
