In this role, you will be responsible for developing learning and assessment materials and engaging content for accredited and non-accredited course delivery. This includes products for qualifications, short-courses and micro credentials. This role will report to the Learning Design Manager but will work closely with Learning Design Team and the Quality Assurance Team.

My client is a reputable registered training organisation that offers a wide range of short courses and qualifications in aged care, customer service, disability, hospitality, mental health, and community services. They are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Instructional Designer ready to jump in and make an immediate impact!

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop innovative and engaging learning and assessments for a suite of training products.
• Planning and development of accredited and non-accredited course materials.
• Review and develop learning and assessment content within a VET framework.
• Apply continuous improvement processes to all material developed, and review.
• Actively participate in a multi-disciplinary team-based environment, working collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

Criteria:

• Relevant experience in training and instructional design in an RTO and commercial setting.
• Relevant qualifications or experience in design and development and/or eLearning.
• Experience in using eLearning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems.
• Highly developed skills in working with and developing training for a wide range of units of competency, learning types and delivery modes.
• Demonstrated high-level interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work closely with subject matter experts to develop clear and practical learning materials across a wide range of complex topics.
