Opportunity for a FIFO GP to make a difference working with remote aboriginal communities to provide primary healthcare.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in a remote Aboriginal community in regional Western Australia.
As a FRACGP or FARGP with at least 5 years postgraduate medical experience you will have a thorough understanding and dedication to improving Aboriginal health through primary health care.
Prior clinical experience in Emergency Medicine will be a distinct advantage as would the completion of an Emergency medicine course, such as REST, REACT or equivalent.
You will have a thorough understanding of family medicine, primary health care and preventative health care practice. Together with the knowledge of Medicare billing framework and a willingness to appropriately maximize Medicare billing.
Your effective communication and interpersonal skills will allow you to liaise with people from a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds.
