A well established large corporate is looking for an experienced Finance Operations Manager to join during a sustained period of growth.

Our Client:

Our client is on a sustained period of growth and is currently seeking an experienced Finance Operations Manager to manage and oversee the Transactional Side of their business as well as implement Process Improvement across the board.

This role will see you manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the teams, while delivering best practice to the organisation’s internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities within this role:

  • Oversight of full Accounts Payable function
  • Review and authorise transactions initiated by the Accounts Payable Officers / Banking Officers
  • Implement new process improvement measures to assist with improving reporting efficiencies
  • Motivate, mentor and train members of both teams
  • Oversee month end reporting
  • Review daily Bank reconciliations
  • Confirm monthly Bank reconciliation and clearing accounts, ensuring all possible items are cleared
  • Drive/provide assistance to ad-hoc projects as directed by the Senior Management Team
  • Manage the performance of team members by developing reviews, coaching and providing regular feedback on performance

Key requirements for this role:

  • Ideally CA/ CPA Qualified
  • Proven experience as a Finance Operations Leader within a fast-paced environment
  • In-depth knowledge of the Accounts Payable and Bank Reconciliation processes
  • General Ledger experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Exposure to the Banking & Financial Services Industry (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures and compliance
  • Six Sigma experience is highly desirable
