Job title: Data Architect

MARS are looking for a Data Architect with strong Azure expertise to join a high-performing Data & Integration Practice and lead major transformation programs for enterprise clients.

In this role you will architect and deliver mission-critical data platforms using the latest Microsoft technologies. Be the technical lead across high-value client engagements and enjoy the variety and pace of consulting while working with a supportive and collaborative team

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and deliver end-to-end data architecture solutions across Azure Data Platform
• Lead large engagements across sectors: scoping, budgeting, design, and quality assurance
• Create high-level and detailed architecture documentation, roadmaps, and solution designs
• Work closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to align technology with business outcomes
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership within delivery teams
• Contribute to pre-sales activity and new service offerings development

Tech You'll Work With:

• Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Power BI, HDInsight
• Kimball data modelling methodology
• Agile delivery, TOGAF/ITIL frameworks (preferred)

About You

• 8+ years' experience in data architecture and solution design
• Strong background with the Azure data ecosystem
• Prior consulting or professional services experience is essential
• Exceptional communicator - able to translate complex technical ideas to business stakeholders
• Proven experience mentoring teams and managing stakeholder expectations
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect)
