An all encompassing role for a part-qualified accountant who’s looking for an opportunity to add value to a global company and develop professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations including balance sheets
- Cashflow forecasting on a rolling basis
- Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures in a timely fashion
- Project management for improvement in internal and monitoring outcomes
- Preparation and processing of employee payroll for the Middle East
- Monthly analysis of expenses to ensure they are recorded correctly
- Provide payroll data to consultant and validate monthly payroll for Australia
- Ensure government compliance requirements are met including BAS returns, payroll tax, tax for Australia and VAT return for Middle East
- Prepare and upload payment batches to the bank for approval
- Managing banking transactions daily including administrative banking duties
- Assist with financial and tax audits and submissions
Requirements:
- Part-qualified Accountant with over 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Holds a University Degree in a relevant discipline
- Full comprehension of Australian compliance and regulations incl. BAS, tax and payroll
- Strong attention to detail and keen to learn and develop within their career
