Administration Assistant (Operations)

Seeking an experienced Administration / Operations Assistant to join our client’s team on a fixed term maternity cover commencing Immediately.

About The Role:

Seeking an experienced Administration / Operations Assistant to join our client's team on a fixed term maternity cover commencing Immediately. This role is working on-site 5 days per week at the school in Melbourne's inner eastern suburbs.

As the Administration Assistant - Operations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the administrative functions of our clients Senior Campus. Reporting to the Director of College Administration, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to streamline procedures, enhance communication platforms, and facilitate the smooth operation of key events and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and implement administrative procedures under the guidance of the Director of College Administration.

- Explore, recommend, and implement diverse platforms for organizational procedures and parent communication

- Assist in organizing Senior Campus examinations, assessment blocks, standardized testing, parent-teacher interviews, and assemblies.

- Contribute to the coordination of Year 12 graduation events

- Collaborate with senior leadership to oversee the organization and execution of VCE awards.

- Provide administrative support to other leaders, particularly the Head of Boarding, and liaise with remote, regional, and international families as needed.

Requirements:

- MUST have demonstrated Operations and Event management background

- Exceptional administration, organizational, and time management skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.

- Ability to handle challenging situations with sensitivity and confidentiality.

- Desirable: Familiarity with databases such as Pastoral+, Canvas, and Microsoft Dynamics, experience in the education sector, and effective planning and organizational skills.

Compliance Requirements:

- Current Working with Children Check.

- Mandatory Reporting and other obligations, including annual updates.

- Completion of safeguarding children modules and relevant training.

- Willingness to participate in First Aid Accreditation.
