Physiotherapist

Are you an experienced Physiotherapist looking for a fulfilling opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our clients team in Darwin!

Our Clients are a leading provider of in-home care services across Australia. With a strong commitment to personalised care, they operate in multiple locations nationwide, ensuring their clients receive the assistance they need to maintain their independence and well-being.

About the Role:
As a Physiotherapist at their Day Therapy Centre, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality therapeutic services to older individuals within the community, including those residing in retirement villages. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of their clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including wellness and re-enablement reviews for clients.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate preventive and therapeutic care programs, both individually and in group settings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care plans and therapeutic interventions.
  • Regularly update care plans based on client feedback and changes in circumstances.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, families, medical professionals, and external agencies.


Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience working with older individuals.
  • Familiarity with community services programs, particularly CHSP, is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer usage.


Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Proof of current Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations or willingness to obtain them.
  • Unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Recent police check (within 6 months) with full disclosure for unsupervised vulnerable people.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
